Some people believe that video games could inspire young students' interest and make their study more efficient rather than distracting them and a waste of time, so young students should be allowed to play video games.

Some people think that some lessons for young children (age 5-8) which include video games can serve as effective and interesting ways of learning, while others think that these lessons are quite distracting and can be seen as a waste of time. What is your opinion and why?
范文:
I strongly agree that some lessons for young children (5-8) which include video games can serve as effective and interesting ways of learning.
First of all, children in the age of 5-8 don’t have enough self-learning awareness. Their motivation for learning mainly comes from their interests. So in my opinion, creating some interesting ways can well attract their attention and arouse their interests. Then children will be very interested in learning something which you want to teach them. On contrary, you just holding a book, read again and again, and tell them this is what we need to learn. It’s quite clear that children will fell bored, they have no interest to learn. So playing video games is a good way for children of that age to learn. It’s very effective.

Secondly, video game is vivid and interesting, which can help children easily remember what you want to tell them and they will hardly forget it.
Third, video game can cultivate children’s hands-on ability and creativity.
They can energetically thinking about what they learn and what they want to learn, as well as why they need to learn such kind of thing. Maybe they can get something that you don’t tell them. It is a good way of exercising their thinking skills.
But I want to emphasize that video game is just a way of learning, teachers must make a good control of importance. They should control the time of playing. The important thing is make children to master the knowledge. Video game can not take the lead. Preventing addiction is significant. Otherwise, it will be opposite to what one wishes.

托福考試的寫(xiě)作部分包括兩道試題:綜合寫(xiě)作和獨(dú)立寫(xiě)作,大約1小時(shí)的時(shí)間。

另一篇?jiǎng)t要求考生首先閱讀一篇文章,五分鐘以后,文章隱去,播放一段與文章有關(guān)的課堂演講。課堂演講列舉了一些論據(jù)反駁文章中的論點(diǎn)、論據(jù)。隨后要求考生在20分鐘內(nèi)寫(xiě)一篇作文,總結(jié)課堂演講的論點(diǎn)、論據(jù),并陳述這些論點(diǎn)、論據(jù)是如何反駁文章的論點(diǎn)、論據(jù)的,字?jǐn)?shù)要求為150字到225字之間。在寫(xiě)作時(shí),文章會(huì)重新顯示在屏幕上。這篇作文不要求考生闡述自己的觀點(diǎn)。
