Are there many advertisements in your country?

你們國(guó)家有很多廣告嗎?

Yep, advertisements in my country are prevalent. Specifically, in the crowded place such as the bus or on the business streets, you can always contact advertisements.

Why do you think there are so many advertisements now?

1. Whether you do like them or not, whenever and wherever it's possible that you can meet them. For biz sellers, ad could be very helpful to promote their products. For audience, ads might show some latest information. To buy or not to buy, to be fond of or not, all depend on your decisions.

2. Well, the competition is fierce in every business. Every brand wants the public to know about and remember their features and service, you know, to get more attention from consumers, so that they could be more competitive in the market. So I guess that's why ads are everywhere now.

What are the various places where we see advertisements?

Today, media is so blatantly filled with advertising: TV, radio, magazine, newspaper, billboards. Even more pathetic when I recently watched a 16 second clip with a two-minute commercial without the option to skip. I think many advertisements are brain-washing us.

Do you often see some advertisements in the place where you live?

Yeah, definitely. We can see ads everywhere, like posters on the bus and on the walls of buildings, the billboards on the side of the road and when we watch TV shows, we always see TV commercials. Oh, and people would hand out flyers or booklets sometimes on the streets.

1. I would say I enjoy some of them coz they are creative and stimulating. But it’s true that When we watch TV, most of them always disturb the fun of enjoying the programs. Besides the information they bring us always are misleading.

2. Well, to be honest, the world use to describe ads is double-edged sword. I mean, sometimes there are just too many of them, which is a huge distraction that can affect our life. However, we could get some benefits from them. I have to say, some ads are informative, and entertaining.

1. Oh no, TV is a purgatory. The TV advertisements today appear to be not only boring but also disturbing. They interrupt in the midst of our enjoyment of a game or a film. Most of the advertisement materials are irritating and of course of low taste. The presentation is mostly awkward and obscene.

2. Generally, I can't stand the commercials that pop up in the middle of a TV show. They are so annoying. And the worst part is, they always show up at the most critical point, which leaves you with a real cliffhanger, you know.
