When do you usually go to bed?

I usually stay up very late, not going to bed until one or two o’clock. Although I know staying up late is harmful to the body, I have gotten used to it. Also, I think doing work at night is more efficient for me.

Is it necessary to sleep enough?

Of course, yes. Enough sleep is the guarantee of the concentration and focus for your work next day. A lack of sleep not only causes your body to be uncomfortable, but also leads to the low efficiency on your job. But it is not necessary to stipulate the exact hours of sleep.

Is it necessary to take a nap every day?

I think it depends on people’s needs. Some people are energetic during the daytime, so a nap is not necessary for them. But some people need a nap to refill energy for working in the afternoon and at night. Then a nap is of vital importance to them.

How long should people sleep for the benefit of their health?

It depends on the age of them. The need for sleep declines as age increases. For young children, eight hours’ sleep is necessary for their growth and study. But for the old, maybe five to six hours are enough. Also, the body conditions of everyone are different, so the hours mentioned above is just a reference.

Do you think the old should sleep more than the young? Why?

No, I don’t think so. The work the old do is usually less than the young, so the energy their body needs might also be fewer. Sleeping provides energy for human body, and therefore the old might sleep less than the young.
