雅思寫作思路必備--大作文（一）

很多同學在準備雅思的過程當中，總會發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的作文分數(shù)一直上不去。那么，留學監(jiān)理網(wǎng)的老師就來帶大家分析一下應該如何提高雅思大作文的寫作能力。 

首先，與中考和高考語文考試的作文一樣，雅思寫作考試的第一步也是非常關鍵的一步就是審題。如果你的寫作分數(shù)與你平時練習時的水平出入過大，那么你在考場八成是跑題了。那么如何審題呢，留學監(jiān)理網(wǎng)的老師就用《劍橋雅思真題5》Test2的大作文來給大家做一個示范。 

本題的題目如下：

In some countries young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting university studies.

Discuss the advantages and disadvantages for young people who decide to do this.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

這個文章考查的是考生是否能就某一事件/觀點的好處與壞處進行觀點闡述和舉例支持的能力。這里，考官沒有讓你闡述自己的觀點，所以，如果你的開頭是這樣的：There are many advantages and disadvantages of having a gap year. But I think having a gap year is great. 那么，你的寫作分數(shù)一定高不了了，因為你審題不清，導致了跑題。 

明確了文章的寫作目的之后，我們應該快速地進行頭腦風暴并寫出一個簡要的提綱(outline)。我們需要至少想出2個advantage和2個disadvantage。

Advantage:

Gain some work experience: improve interpersonal ability--good for the team work

There is a debate on if young people should be encouraged to work or travel for a year after they graduate from high school and before they go to college. In my essay, both advantages and disadvantages of this notion will be discussed.

One of the advantages of taking a gap year is that it gives the young adults a great opportunity to think what they want to do and in what they are interested. They have been busy with their studies at high schol for several years and never have time to really think about their future. They’ll find out it is crucial for them to set a goal of career development and the first step to do so is to realize what their passion is. Obviously, taking a year travel or work gives those students some time to figure out what path and major they want to choose.

However, those young adults may pursue economic success rather than academic achievement and will never go back to college. Some of them are lack of judgement and will be easily affected by this impetuous society. They believe going to college will not ganrantee a promising future so they would rather start their career as early as possible in order to gain some practical experience and earn some money. What they don’t know is all the high-end professions require good education. If their parents are not aware of their children’s choice, nobody will keep them on the right track. Their future would be unpredictable.

Taking all the factors into consideration, I am convinced that taking a gap year is good for the young adults. But it’s essential for them to go back to college on time; as a result, I advocate that both their parents and teachers should keep an eye on them and give them supports, suggestions and guidance when it’s necessary.
