human beings(被考生使用過多)= humanity(注意這個詞的單數(shù)指人類，復(fù)數(shù)指人文學(xué)科)/the human race

wealth =fortune(s) (指一大筆錢。fortune作財富的意思時可以加復(fù)數(shù))

skill(技能，本領(lǐng)) ≈technique(注意這個詞的正確解釋是技能或者方法，而不是technology科技)

important =crucial (extremely important),significant(amount or effect large enough to be important)

common=universal, ubiquitous(if something is ubiquitous, it seems to be everywhere)

abundant=ample(enough and usually extra), plentiful(enough for people's needs and wants)

stick=adhere, cling(hold on something tightly)

neglect=ignore.(difference: neglect means someone has not paid enough attention to something; ignore means no attention.)

near=adjacent(twothings next to each other), adjoin(the same as adjacent)

pursue=woo(man woos woman, old-fashioned), seek(if you seek sth, you try to obtain it. FORMAL)

accurate=precise(precise is exact and accurate in all details), exact(correct in every detail)

vague=obscure(unknown or known by only a few people)
