I will not support my friend’s idea that he wants to drop out of college and I will try my best to change his mind. Firstly, it is very difficult for someone who doesn’t have college education and diploma. My cousin graduates from college this July and he told me the basic requirement to find a decent job is a college diploma or graduation certificate. Secondly, college provides us much more than knowledge and skills. For example, if you helped a professor with his research and have a close relationship with him, you can ask him to write a recommendation letter for you when you want to apply for a graduate school. Without a complete college studies and life, he will encounter countless difficulties and drawbacks. He will be regretful and find his decision stupid and lack of vision.

Task 2

Your professor give you a opportunity that helping him work on an important project this weekend, but you was intend to join your sister's birthday party. What would you choose?

本題同樣是校園場景。教授的項目和sister的生日趴時間沖突了，你選哪一個。我相信大部分同學(xué)都會選擇教授的項目。同樣，我們需要迅速選擇論點和論據(jù)。

If I encounter such a dilemma, I will definitely choose to help my professor with his project. First of all, getting involved in research and project means a lot to me. For example, I can learn how to work with others in a project and improve my interpersonal skills and time management skills.  Second, my sister is always my support and she’ll understand if I couldn’t go to her birthday party. If I sacrificed such a good opportunity of doing a project and came to her party, my sister would be very disappointed and even feel guilty. I will definitely figure out what my first priority is and do the right thing. So I have every reason to help my professor with the project this weekend.
