Overview

The International Foundation Programme is specifically designed to build your English language, academic study skills and subject knowledge to the level required to progress on to an undergraduate degree. There are 2 different pathways available for you to choose between:

The business pathway if you are looking to progress on to a business-related undergraduate degree
The generic pathway leading to undergraduate degrees in non-business subjects

Following successful completion of your programme, with a pass mark of 40% (55% for those progressing on to Law subjects), you will progress on to the degree programme you applied for. These can be on to one of the University of Roehampton’s undergraduate degrees (excluding Dance courses).

Depending on your current English language level, you can undertake a 3 Term International Foundation Programme or the 2 Term Fast-Track International Foundation Programme.

IELTS 4.5 (with no single element below 4.0): 3 Term
IELTS 5.0 (with no single element below 4.5): 2 Term

This course is validated by the University of Roehampton and taught by QA Higher Education, who work in partnership with the University.

Students need to have International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). GCSE/iGCSE – 5 Passes at A-C; GCSE Maths at grades D, or equivalent are required for entry. Functional Skills Level 2, is accepted as equivalent. IELTS 5.5 with no component less than 5.0 in each band, or equivalent.
