Psychology is the study of mind and behavior. It seeks to understand our desires, impulses, actions, emotions, and thoughts.

In the Psychology program at UNB’s Saint John campus, you’ll study from faculty members with expertise in fields such as forensic psychology and criminal behavior, addictive behavior, psychopharmacology, human development, and animal behavior. You’ll choose to study topics such as child development, drugs and behavior, lie detection methods, and the causes and consequences of loneliness.

At UNB, you’ll learn from faculty members with diverse backgrounds, education, and training. The small class sizes mean greater interaction between you, your instructors, and your peers.

You’ll also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by participating in field placement courses and in research labs.

High school students applying to undergraduate programs at the University of New Brunswick. China: Senior Middle Two and Three results as well as a graduation certificate. Students may also be asked to report scores from the National College Entrance Examination grades of 70% or above. International students require the following English language proficiency minimum scores for direct entry into most academic programs: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 85, CAEL 60, or Pearson Vue Test 59.
