The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology provides a strong foundation in human movement and performance in relation to exercise, sport, work, and wellness. Our program offers a transformative student experience that balances theory with hands-on practice. Kinesiology offers the creative space to explore scientific experiences in our state-of-the-art labs while working alongside leading professors in the field.

The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology offers an honors program, directed studies, minor in Ergonomics, and practicums in career-related work situations.

UNB’s Faculty of Kinesiology has been a Canadian leader in kinesiology, recreation, sport and wellness since 1957. The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology is an excellent choice for students who are interested in health-related professions, such as: medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic, athletic therapy and massage therapy; or interested in other professions including: ergonomics, fitness, teaching and coaching.

At UNB, our goal is to help fuel the worldwide movement to increase opportunities for people to reach their full bodily potential.

Our program is nationally accredited with the Canadian Council of University Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators (CCUPEKA).

High school students applying to undergraduate programs at the University of New Brunswick. China: Senior Middle Two and Three results as well as a graduation certificate. Students may also be asked to report scores from the National College Entrance Examination grades of 70% or above. International students require the following English language proficiency minimum scores for direct entry into most academic programs: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 85, CAEL 60, or Pearson Vue Test 59.
