UMSL Cyber Start Grant for Fall 2020 - Under this scheme, F1 international students who are unable to report to campus this fall due to COVID19 are able to pay a reduced rate of tuition. ? This will only be for the Fall 2020 semester as the students should be on campus in Spring 2021 paying regular rates. ? Any UMSL Global scholarship awarded for Fall 2020 would be deferred until Spring 2021. ? Students must be enrolled in a degree program conducive to online learning.

A music degree also prepares you for positions in the music industry (recording, publishing, radio programming, manufacturing, music retail) or as a church music director. Employers in many fields take notice of applicants with music degrees; music study requires a high level of discipline, musicians are creative and positive and musical aptitude is known to be correlated with other desirable skills.

UMSL music graduates have been readily accepted into outstanding graduate programs, including our own Master of Music Education degree program. Many are pursuing successful careers in music education, business, and industry, or as professional performers.
