Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management)(本科)專業(yè)概況
The HR management degree focuses on developing strategies to manage people and construct workplace arrangements that respond to organisational and human needs.
This degree is ideal for applicants with high levels of emotional intelligence, initiative and attention to detail. The interrelationships between work and society will be heavily considered and you will learn to critically analyse and synthesise information to formulate effective and ethical business decisions.
As an HR practitioner you will be expected to understand sustainable work practices and policies and make organisational decisions within the broader social and economic environment and work effectively with stakeholders.
The degree consists of 24 subjects (each 12 credit points) and includes:
8 compulsory common business core subjects
8 business discipline major subjects
8 flexible subjects.
The 8 flexible subjects can be selected from 3 options:
a second business discipline major (8 courses)
a compulsory business discipline minor (4 courses) plus second minor (any discipline)
a compulsory business discipline minor (4 courses) plus 4 electives.
A second business major can be selected from:
accounting
economics
entrepreneurship
finance
financial planning
information systems
logistics and supply chain management
marketing.
Career
RMIT graduates emerge with the skills to exercise strong ethical judgements in a variety of business contexts with reference to regulatory and global perspectives.
The flexibility to select courses from business or other disciplines prepares you for a career in a range of industries and for roles covering employment relations, industrial relations, OHS, negotiation and advocacy and the management of human resources and human performance.
