The NUMed Malaysia five-year MB BS programme is identical to that of Newcastle's UK provision. It will provide a general medical education, suitable for all types of doctor and serve as the foundation for later career specialisation.

NUMed offers a truly rounded medical degree with an excellent amalgamation of practical and communication skills required to be a good doctor.

Our MB BS Honours programme is an integrated five-year undergraduate medical course.

Our programme is equivalent to the one delivered at our Medical School in the UK. Following successful completion of the programme you will be awarded the degrees Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) by Newcastle University, UK.

All five years of the MBBS programme are delivered in Malaysia. However, there are opportunities during the fourth year of the course for some study at our Medical School in the UK.
