Most industries need people who can lead, design, execute and complete business projects.

Study with MIT and you'll learn the skills to manage a project from start to finish. You will be matched to a company to work on a real-world project. Apply your skills in creating project plans and using project management software tools.

When you graduate, you’ll be ready to get a job across a range of industries.

Launch your career in construction, information technology (IT) or engineering. There’s also plenty of job opportunities in government, education and not-for-profit organisations.

Fast-track your programme of study to graduate sooner

Your work experience or previous tertiary study may count towards achieving your qualification. Our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programme is designed for those who already have the on-the-job skills and knowledge, but want to take their career to the next level with a qualification.

Career opportunities

A broad range of businesses and disciplines require project managers and managers with expertise in planning, running and closing projects. You could take on roles in human resources, sales and marketing or IT, or in disciplines such as engineering. Many industries will benefit from the skills you will possess as a Bachelor of Applied Management (Project Management) graduate.

You will need to complete 13 compulsory courses, five elective courses and the courses from your chosen major (360 credits):

Elective courses

In addition, for each major you must select five other elective courses (a total of 75 credits). If you are doing a double major you will not be able to take elective courses, you will need to take five courses from your other major.
