MUIC Biological Sciences will expand and deepen your intellect and network. In your first year or two, you’ll pursue a rigorous and diverse general education curriculum with classmates from throughout MUIC; then you’ll dive deeply into core areas like genetics, biochemistry, ecology and cell biology during your middle years. During years three to four, most students choose to finish a specialized module (concentration); options include Biomedical Science, Ecology and Conservation, Health and Wellness, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. Everyone completes a final year research project and an entrepreneurship or internship to hone their practical skills. You will be fully prepared to begin, for example, your M.D., Ph.D. or D.D.S. degree, or entry-level professional work in the public or private sector.

Career Opportunities

Teaching career as assistants in the field of Biological Sciences at any academic institutes/universities, or as primary- and secondary-school teachers in the field of Biological Sciences at any international schools
Research assistants in research institutes or on research programs/projects either in Thailand or abroad
Working in Research and Development departments, in Scientific Instruments Trading and Services or in Customer Relations departments in both private and governmental sectors who deal with Biological products
Continuing their studies for a higher degree or a professional degree in any fields of Biological Sciences, such as Bioinformatics, Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, Pharmacy, etc.
