The Lamar University Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree provides you a direct path to a fully accredited bachelor’s degree if you have completed course work for technical, applied or military credit or if you have a technical or applied degree from a community or technical college.

Courses You May Take

Narrative for Prior Experiential Learning Credit: You will be guided to develop an outcome-based learning narrative which will allow you the opportunity to translate knowledge and skills obtained through life and work experiences into academic credit.

Lifelong Learning and Portfolio Development: This course lays the foundation for the program of study by investigating current issues in the philosophy of higher education. It will establish academic, personal and professional goals for degree completion while introducing you to the portfolio process and improving your critical thinking and communication skills.

Senior Seminar: This course completes the assessment of the personal, educational and professional goals and outcomes set forth in your other classes.
