Career Pathway

Nursing is the promotion and optimisation of health and abilities of individuals, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations. It involves assisting the individual, sick or well, in the performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery. Nursing is the caring behaviour and practices that distinguish nursing from other professions. A Nursing graduate registered with the Nursing Board Malaysia receives high recognition locally and overseas. There is a great demand for nurses in Malaysia and in other countries hence more nurses need to be trained to cater for the shortage of nurses globally.
