Learn how food and nutrition influence individual and community wellbeing with the Bachelor of Food Science and Nutrition from Charles Sturt University. Professional recognition

This course allows you to apply to the Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA) for the qualification of Associate Nutritionist; however, the NSA does not formally accredit courses. Graduates are also eligible for membership of the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST).

Study in dedicated areas

When applying, you are required to pick one of the following streams of study from exercise science, community nutrition, food innovation and marketing. You can also consider studying the stream that may facilitate entry to postgraduate dietetics study. These streams allow you to better understand the relationship of food and nutrition to specialist areas of health or food development.
