The program is classified as a STEM program. The goal of the program is to equip students with the advanced knowledge and skills needed to reach their potential in the ITM field. The program will give students the competency and flexibility to create and maintain a competitive edge in today’s rapidly changing, highly competitive IT environment. Students will be introduced to best practices for managing IT functions and interrelationships within an organization.

The MSITM requires students to have previous work experience, be working currently in a full-time or part-time position, completing an internship, or job shadowing. This degree is primarily intended for practicing professional persons who possess a bachelor’s degree in business or technology or a bachelor’s or advanced degree in some other area of specialization and who feel the need for additional study in order to maximize and enhance their ability to contribute to their career, their company, and society. The degree will assist students who have a bachelor’s degree to prepare for further study in doctoral programs.

The MSITM program is available in two formats:

  • Offered at the Louisville Education Center as a hybrid program
  • Offered Online

Hybrid LEC courses will be taught in 16 weeks (combining two graduate terms) as the following. The online courses will be offered using the existing eight-week term dates.

Students must hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association, or have completed equivalent academic preparation as determined by appropriate campus authorities; be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended; have satisfied any one of the following: attained a GPA of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree, or attained a GPA of at least 2.5 in the last 60 semester units (90 quarter units) attempted. English language requirements: TOEFL - Minimum of 80 iBT; IELTS - Minimum of 6.5 Band Score; PTE Academic - Minimum 53; Pearson's Test of English - 53.
